I can see why painters move to places for the beauty of the light. I can never take a photo nor paint a picture that seems to do it justice though it doesn’t stop me trying.
We don’t have an Ibiza-style island sundowner place to hang out here in Granada, primarily because we’re not by the beach (!), but I’m quite happy catching it unexpectedly as I walk around Granada. It really can be quite magnificent and rather beautiful.
I find that the sun and its light have a huge influence on me and my mood and imagine that would be true for others too. It always seems to lift me up when I see it with that gentle, sublime glow. As I was walking around yesterday, I got to thinking about the sun and its impact. So, with this in mind:
if you were the sun, who or what would you shine your light on?

Hey there, I found you via the NaBloPoMo blogroll.
If I were the sun, I would shine for 3 more hours in winter, just to cheer everyone up. I’d make it after work finishes, say, to shine from 5-8pm instead of getting dark then. I love daylight saving in summer, and I hate having to switch back.
I would also have an hour a day where I shone different colours, like an LED light changing from yellow to orange to pink to all the other colours, and back again. It could be kind of like a disco but outside. 🙂
