About

There are many different reasons why we may want to get away from the noise of our daily lives and there are countless ways to help you do so.

This blog is my way of doing exactly that.

I live in Granada in the south of Spain, write songs, teach English and now write this blog.

Subjects include music, travel, life as an expat in the south of Spain, English teaching, minimalism and generally escaping to a place of tranquility because it’s a beautiful place to be.

I hope you find it gets you away from the noise…

Jason

  3. Liked your blog title and tagline. ‘Away from the noise’ resonates with my thoughts as well. I want solitude to think deeply and to calm myself after a long day.

  4. I am currently creating a place in my world where I can get “away from the noise”. I have a ten your old daughter, two dogs and a significant other so finding a “hiding place” in my house is somewhat difficult. I’ve recently found that a pair of headphones and dark sunglasses turn them away– at the least the humans— the dogs pose a different challenge but they can’t open doors so I think I just might win the battle after all. šŸ™‚

  5. Hy Jason! This is a short but lovely About page, I really like it! It doesn’t really contain a lot about yourself (mine doesn’t either), but it clearly establishes the aim of your blog. Well done šŸ™‚

  6. Ah yes away from the noise. Long walks on a quiet ocean beach do this for me. Starting a blog was also a way of helping release the noise that was accumulating in my head. Looking forward to reading more. šŸ™‚
