What Won’t Happen If You Don’t?

The question in the title of this post may initially sound odd with its double negative, however it is in fact part of a set of questions called the Cartesian questions.  I’ve noticed that my coaching clients often find these quite challenging, especially the last one, however if you are tenacious, they can be very helpful in finding clarity.  For example,

  • What will happen if you do X
  • What won’t happen if you do ‘X’
  • What will happen if you don’t do ‘X’
  • What won’t happen if you don’t do

Give them a go and see what you get from them.
